Due to unforeseen technical issues, College Sports on TJR with Mike Durst and Mike Ayers will not be aired this week. While we won't have a show this week, rest assured there were plenty of upsets that took place this week in College Basketball.
I mean could you seriously butcher a last second inbounds play any worse than what Indiana did against Illinois? With it Illinois was able to get the last second lay up off in time to beat Indiana 74-72. It wouldn't be enough to drop Indiana from the #1 ranking though as they were able to pound Ohio State @ Ohio State, 81-68.
And holy half court shots! Wisconsin's mid court buzzer beater with 3 seconds left enabled them to tie up Michigan at the end of regulation where they eventually beat then #3 Michigan in OT, 65-62.
Is 5OTs good enough for a regular season matchup? Well a regular season record was broke as #11 Louisville and #25 Notre Dame lasted 5OTs, where ND eventually prevailed and won 104-101.
And is Kansas on their death bed after the initial loss to Oklahoma State? It would look like it anyway as they lost their 3rd straight game, this time to Oklahoma, 72-66.
We'll have plenty more upsets to talk about, as well as our big conversation about the recruiting class for college football. All this and more coming up for our show next week, right here on College Sports on TJR.
